CAN YOU TELL ME IF YOU HAVE A “PAWS TO READ” PROGRAM. i AM MOVING TO THE AREA IN A FEW MONTHS AND WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER. MY THREE DOGS, ALL RETIRES GREYHOUNDS AND CERTIFIED THERAPY DOGS, VOLUNTEER HERE IN NORTH CAROLINA AND WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE WHEN WE GET TO TEXAS.

Ms Mantia,

Yes, Georgetown Animal Shelter does have a volunteer program. Generally our volunteer orientations are held on the 1st Saturday of each month at 1pm at the shelter (110 W L Walden). We would be happy to have you attend, and we can discuss your therapy dogs.
